Cancellation Policy

Deposits & payments

All deposits to hold a booking are non-refundable. All payments to complete a booking are non-refundable. No exceptions. However, we will transfer your dates if you have to cancel. Re-booking has to be within the following year.

Stays

Cancellation windows and refunds depend on the dates, the accommodation booked, and the platform you booked through. The exact terms for your reservation are shown at checkout and in your booking confirmation. When in doubt, reach out and we’ll walk you through it.

Events & whole-property bookings

Weddings, retreats, reunions and whole-property reservations are confirmed with a deposit and a tailored agreement that sets out the deposit, payment schedule and cancellation terms for your specific event.

For weddings priced and booked through our online calculator, changes must be finalized at least six months before your event date. After that point, a change can still add to your package, for example more guests or more of an item you already chose, but it cannot reduce it. If your invoice has already been paid in full, a change that reduces your package will not be refunded for the amount removed.

Weather & wilderness

Rock Lake is a remote mountain property. We’ll always do our best to help if conditions change, and we recommend travel insurance for peace of mind given the off-grid setting and seasonal roads.
